Southern Masked Weavers, Village Weavers and Yellow Fronted Canaries all enjoying some bread and cheese. Occasionally putting out some bread for the birds is not harmful, but it should not be their staple diet. It does fill their stomachs, but it doesn't add much nutritional value so it you should predominantly put out more seeds, fruit and vegetables.
Whole grain, multi-grain breads are best, especially if they are organically produced with minimal preservatives.
