This antenna was created by Dr.Ed Fong WB6IQN, who teaches a antenna/radio type class.
The maximum power input is 75 watts, although a 250 watt version is available. The SWR is less than 1.3 to 1.0 on both bands.
The antenna has been so successful that it has been adopted by the Red Cross, ARES and numerous municipalities for emergency deployment.
It comes complete fully assembled with end caps and an SO-239 connector.
This has been a great antenna, and was very easy to setup and get going. Once ordered, you just put the antenna inside of the PVC pipe, slap the ends on there, and you're ready to rock and roll.
It's lasted through hail and very rough storms outside, and has held up very well with no signs of water damage.
I would definitely recommend this antenna.
