Grab 20 fat quarters and some background yardage to make this simple, Weathered Whimsy Quilt Pattern. This will create a JUMBO-size quilt block that is perfect for beginners. Large quilt blocks make it simpler and quicker to make bed-size quilts: Twin, Queen, and even king-size quilts.

Measurements for Fat Quarters:
Cut 1 - 8 ½" x 16 ½" rectangles.
Cut 2 - 2 ½" x 16 ½" rectangles.
(Bonus: Cut One - 2 ½" x Width of Fat Quarter for a scrappy binding.)

Measurements for Background Yardage:
Cut 40 - 2 ½" x 16 ½" rectangles.
