In the latest episode of their series 'Poetry and the Turning World', Sarah Howe and Sandeep Parmar look at the ways in which weather has functioned as a poetic tool and consider three recent poems that describe the intimate and communal effects of atmospheric events: Maureen McLane’s ‘Rocks’, Jake Skeets’s ‘Surface Mapping’ and Ishion Hutchinson’s ‘After the Hurricane’.
