We have all worn a mask at some point in our lives. Either to hide from ourself, from others or to show ourselves and others that we are different person. This could be to please others or to fit into a certain mold because of society, fear, shame and guilt but wearing this mask for too long entails suppressing true self. Suppressing true self leads to resentment, pain and oppression of full potential.
