Members of WeAreChange Manchester gather in St.Peter's Square, Manchester to commemorate and raise awareness about the horrific events of the 16th of August 1819.
The Peterloo Massacre
On the 16th of August 1819 the area around what's now St Peters Square, Manchester, played host to an outrage against over 60,000 peaceful pro-democracy and anti-poverty protesters; an event which became known as The Peterloo Massacre
An estimated 18 people, including Women and children died from sabre cuts and trampling by cavalry on horses. Over 700 men, women and children received extremely serious injuries. All in the name of liberty and freedom from poverty.
*This horrific Outrage occurred during a period of immense political tension and mass protests. Fewer than 2% of the population had the vote, and hunger was rife...
*This Massacre was effectively Manchester's Tiananmen Square - Yet subsequent Manchester Councils (of all political colours) have shamefully ignored this slaughter of Mancunian people. Even a plaque they did eventually erect made no mention of the killings - and vague promises of a proper memorial are yet to materialise after nearly 200 years...
*Very few local schools mention this event in their history classes. The brave people who died at Peterloo have effectively been Air-Brushed from history.
We Demand a proper and fitting Memorial to the brave Men, Women and children who died protesting for Freedom, Liberty and Representation! WE WILL REMEMBER THEM!

2012 turned out to be an apocalyptic (i.e. revealing) year after all though not in the ways expected!
Digging for Richard IIIs bones in Leicester began during the jamboree of Londons Olympic summer and was almost immediately followed by the revelations of the Hillsborough Report and then those about Jimmy Saville the man who fooled so many people in all sections of British society for over 40 years. And then up popped the bones of THAT particular King! A deeply symbolic event. His death occurred at a critical turning point in British history, which brought in the Tudors and laid the basis for world empire.
500 years on, we are now facing another such turning point.
Do we reject the emerging European Superstate only to merge with the existing American Superstate? And what about the even larger Transatlantic Superstate (USA and EU): the first stage of which was quietly announced just days after the sudden news of the Popes resignation? Is it our role simply to be a bridge between these two behemoths?
So many aspects of British institutional life, including the UK itself, are tottering. How to make sense of all this?
Terrys presentation seeks to throw a keen light on whats going on and suggest ways forward that the media are ignoring.

THE PEOPLES MANDATE. ROB FREEMAN (PLEASE READ, AND PASS ON, NOW ITS OUR TURN)!
Rob Freeman: THE PEOPLES MANDATE:
The Legal System cannot be used by us against the corrupt Government... because it was not constructed to afford people remedy, but rather to tie people up in red tape and to protect that very system itself.....therefore inferring that our remedy lies outside the Legal System.
The Legal System was designed by the System to protect itself and the only remedies available to people are to recognise matters as Criminal or Tortuous and hold the Perpe Traitors ..individually and privately Liable.
Therefore anything that falls under the banner of the Legal System, sees anything and everybody else outside of itself as an Enemy....as Foreign...as Alien...or as an Occupier...an invading foreign Militia.
So if people or bodies dont fall under the Remit....under the scope of the Legal System, they are therefore seen by the system as either Unrecognizable or as an Aggressor to the System.
A Critical Mass of people can come together and Mandate the Will of the People, by instructing our Government to hold all our Public Servants our [Public Trustees] accountable for Breach Of Trust....and thus be forced to Comply with the Mandate and the Will of the People once it was delivered correctly. We must collapse the fictional Trusts set up by the Government/Crown in our names and denounce the ownership of our names by The Crown, that was achieved by the construction of the Birth Certificates.
The foundation of the Mandate from its very core has one golden rule and everything else from there on is built up around this one rule.....
DO NO HARM TO ANOTHER LIVING SOUL!
The Governments failure to comply with the Will of the people would leave them unable to continue and they would have to step- down and be replaced by others selected by the People.
Ultimately, when we look at the solutions to the problems and challenges that we face, they always come down to the People themselves. When enough of us apply whats in our hearts and what we know to be fair and right and do it en masse, then we not only have the power of people but the energy to make the correct changes to the current system for ones that are right for each and every one of us.
Rob Freeman: All it takes is enough of us to join together in an ever growing number and deliver The Peoples Mandate to the Government dictating our terms, from the people, by the people, and for all the people.
When we do it in this Country, then all Countries will follow suit and the world will truly change.

To declare (an actor thing) to be a crime and prescribe
a punishment for it.
