Our main goal for this day was to climb Ben Macdui from the Aveimore side, beyond that, we weren't sure to be honest.

Once we got to the top, I decided to descend down the other side of Macdui as I'd done and enjoyed that descent before. This time however, we opted to head to loch Avon, making a left at loch Etchachan.

This turned out to be a great move visually, but not great to for riding or hiking back out. This route actually led to both me and Piers feeling physically wiped for our final descent back down to the carpark off of mount Cairn Gorm.

All that being said, we made it the whole way and without incident which is the main thing.
