Texas was never mad at the 16 eastern states for leaving the Union. Hell, Texas himself had left a few months prior. He wasn't upset with them for joining the United Kingdom, either. They did what they had to do. Texas just wished British America would talk to him. Even if just for a moment. But no matter what the circumstances were, they avoided him like the plague. And he hated that.

Texas left the United States on the 2nd of March 2069
The 13 original colonies plus a couple extra states along the east coast decided to rejoin the UK in late April, forming British America.
The United States of America fell about a month later, on the 1st of July.
