In this universe, Dex Diznee gets tired of being left behind, so he joins the Neverseen and capures Sophie Foster.
Full Summary (If You're Conufsed After Watching the Video):
Dex shows and imprisoned Sophie a picture of the two of them together, a few weeks before they were captured by the Neverseen in the first book. He asks Sophie if she forgot about when they were best friends.
After this, he uses a special form of technology to show Sophie her memories. Dex first shows one of the moments in the first book when he helped Sophie with Alchemy, since she struggled with it. He then shows Sophie one of her confrontations with Lady Giselda in Legacy. Dex is angry about this memory, and says that Sophie traded him away.
The two return to the real world, and Dex starts to regret joining the Neverseen. He decides to free Sophie, and they escape together.
In the final scene, Sophie and Dex sit on Sophie's bed together. Dex nervously asks if they are still best friends, and Sophie assures him that they always will be.
