ℹ️ About the Episode: If it weren't for a 109-year-old Old Town canoe, we never would have discovered Lake Leigh in Grand Teton National Park. After launching from String Lake and earning our portage badge, we found what may be the most spectacular paddling destination we've ever experienced.
This episode is more than just another visit to the Tetons. It's one of those "between the episodes" episodes we love, filled with the random RV moments that make life on the road so memorable. We travel from Stanley, Idaho, through Idaho Falls, over Teton Pass, and into Jackson, Wyoming, battling rain, wind, and everything in between.
Along the way, we stop for roadside lunches (same chef both times... what are the chances?), laugh at ourselves, and continue the story of the 1917 Old Town canoe from last week's episode.
We've visited Grand Teton National Park four times and somehow overlooked Lake Leigh every single time. If you've only explored Jenny Lake, Jackson Lake, or Phelps Lake, this is one spot you'll want to add to your list.
And one more thing... we won't explain the ending. If you've been hanging out with us since Caleb was just a boy, you'll understand.
