One of the most difficult things in life to do is to become an individual. Every day of our lives, there are people around us who will try to pull us in the directions that they want us to go. Advertisers want to tell us how to spend our money, parents may have ideas about how we live our lives, and friends always have ideas about how we spend our time; whether or not we drink, take drugs, have sex or do a million other things, And the only armor, the only defense we have, against all of this outside pressure, is something inside of us that says “this is who I am and this is who I’m not!” Take the time to figure out who YOU want to be in the important areas of your life - because if you don’t, there will be plenty of people around you wiling to make those decisions for you!
