Today I’m Metal detecting the beach starting at 2:30 AM at Huntington Beach California after a massive Fourth of July firework show that had close to 1 million people on the beach. This year we got an extra early start and we’re actually the first people out there giving us the competitive advantage. After scouring the beach for hours, we found all kinds of stuff. Including piles of change, gold diamond rings, and all kinds of random items. Then we made our way down the coast to Newport Beach to see what was left over after the viral teen takeover. By that point in the day, there were tons of other people Metal detecting, but we still managed to find some interesting stuff. Then after breakfast, we had even further down the Newport coast to Balboa pier to finish the day where we found even more jewelry and money. It was an awesome day of Metal detecting, despite waking up at 2am after going to bed after midnight.
