We took an old wooden chest and turned it into one of the creepiest tables we’ve ever built — an illusion of 1,000 hands trapped inside.
For this Halloween project, we experimented with new materials, created dozens of incredibly realistic hand casts, and completely reimagined the classic infinity mirror effect.
Instead of simple endless reflections, we wanted to create something disturbing: a seemingly bottomless chest filled with hundreds upon hundreds of glowing hands reaching out from the darkness.
We restored and modified the old chest, built the lighting and mirror system, created realistic hand replicas, and combined everything into a terrifying piece of functional furniture.
The result is an infinity mirror table unlike anything we’ve made before — look inside, and it feels like 1,000 hands are trapped beneath the glass.
