Hello everypony!

Magpiepony here with a very special My Little Pony Christmas charity event that will take place at the end of this year. Where I live, in Utah, there is a convention called “The Festival of Trees” which I have longed to be a part of since I was very small. The festival is made up of hundreds of christmas trees and other christmas decorations, each with their own theme and special pizazz! Each tree (or decoration) is donated by an individual, group, or organization and is then sold via a silent auction with all of the proceeds going to Primary Children’s Hospital. The Primary Children's Charity Care Program ensures that every child receives the best medical care possible, regardless of race, religion, or ability to pay.

There will be a link below that you can check out to learn all the awesome aspects of this festival including the hand-made gift shop, the live entertainment, and the childrens’ craft and activities center where I may or may not still visit every year to get myself a sparkle wand.

In the past couple years I have noticed something, there are so many wonderful trees with themes like Disney, Coca-Cola, various sports teams, super heroes etc., but I have yet to see a My Little Pony tree! This is totally unacceptable, am I right? So, I intend my tree to be the first My Little Pony G4 tree at the festival this year, but I need your help! I have set up this GoFundMe to raise the funds to pay for the tree, the decoration supplies, and the displays. In addition, I have opened a P.O. Box where you can send in your donated items to be a part of the tree! Please bear in mind these rules and guidelines for those who want to send in donations:

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR DONATIONS
1. G4 decorations and presents ONLY (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is G4)
2. NEW products ONLY
3. No ornaments made of paper
4. Nothing flammable
5. Nothing containing glass, hay, straw
6. Nothing inflatable
7. Nothing containing water or any liquids
8. Nothing living (like plants)
9. No weapons or adult-themed objects
10. Tree topper inquiries need to be emailed to me directly

The GoFundMe is currently set to 1100 dollars which will cover: the fee from GoFundMe, the cost of the tree, the supplies needed to decorate it as well as decorations themselves like tinsel and candy canes, lights, and displays for the many presents that will be left under and around the tree.

The reason I am announcing this now is because christmas decorations right now are much more affordable and planning for this event is going to take weeks. I am lucky enough to be assisted by my family and TheLostNarrator to decorate and transport the tree. Additionally, myself and my family will be donating all kinds of MLP merchandise and hand-made goodies such as a custom tree skirt, one of my mother’s amazing blankets. My family and I will be documenting our journey in making this tree a reality and any and all financial transactions will be made public so you know exactly where this money is going. Which brings me to my little disclaimer:

DISCLAIMER
Any products or ornaments that cannot be incorporated into the tree will be donated to Toys for Tots or Deseret Industries. Any remaining funds will be donated to Primary Children's Hospital, the same organization that runs the Festival of Trees event.
