NVIDIA has introduced the newest iteration of DLSS. Now, it goes beyond an AI upscaler that increases your performance and resolution. In what they call the "GPT Moment" for graphics, it uses generative AI to infuse scenes with "photorealistic lighting and materials." The results speak for themselves. It creates an uncanny valley look for the games it has touched as it actively moves to homogenize art. Perhaps more disappointing is that one of the front and center spokespeople for this feature is a person we've covered extensively on the channel. A person I have deep respect for, not only because of the incredible worlds he has envisioned and built, but also because he has never been above the process.
