CTM Geoguessr - June 2026 CTMC Event

Geoguessr is an online game where players are shown a streetview of a location akin to Google-Maps and must pinpoint where the location is with accuracy. For this event, players are given obscure screenshots of a map's location (clearer screenshots are slowly trickled as time progresses). At the correct location is a designated villager which you must punch to score.
Rounds: Each round players are given an elytra, 99 wind charges, and ONE firework rocket (+1 firework every 15 SECONDS elapsed). Players are given temporary invisibility at the start of rounds to slightly mitigate stalking of top frags. By default, each round will last 5 minutes but can be changed as necessary. We'll probably go for 30-45m per map.
Scoring: For this event, scoring will be proportionally time-based AND placement based. The formula is (Your Time / First Scorer's Time) + Players Remaining) * (100 / Total Players) . Your score potential starts at 100 and decays based on time and placement.
Player Info Some player attributes have been modified to make traversal less diabolical. Players have +75% Speed (I recommend lowering FOV Effects), -100% Block Reach (no opening chests!), Invincibility, Night Vision, and probably more. You can use /trigger spawn to get back to spawn.

CTM (Complete the Monument) Maps are worlds centered around completing dungeons using survival strategies, obtaining wool, and returning it to a monument. I enjoy making and playing maps.
