Professor Pavlina Tcherneva appearing on the Laura Flanders show, advocating the position that public policy should change course. Currently, we aim various aspects of the economy towards growth with the hope that jobs will be created out of that. Professor Tcherneva suggests we should do the opposite: directly target jobs (by simply hiring people) and get whatever growth may come out of that.
