Juror #2 is easily one of the best films of the year and it is absolutely criminal that Warner Bros has limited its release to just 50 theatres in North America.
Justin Kemp, an average family man, is summoned for jury duty in a high-profile murder trial. The case involves a man accused of killing his wife, with overwhelming evidence pointing to his guilt. As the trial progresses, Justin begins to realize that the defendant's guilt might not be as clear-cut as it seems. A series of flashbacks reveal Justin's own dark secret - he was involved in a hit-and-run accident years ago, which now haunts his conscience, especially as details of the trial eerily mirror his own past. Justin faces a moral dilemma: should he sway the jury to find the defendant not guilty, thereby indirectly seeking redemption for his own unconfessed crime? His internal struggle intensifies as he grapples with his duty as a juror versus his guilt.
