We had a plan. A very organized, sensible van build plan.
And then we ignored it and started with the ceiling.
In this episode of our 2018 Ford Transit van conversion, we tackle the project we were dreading most. The ceiling. Between wiring, uneven van walls, questionable measurements, and a heated debate over symmetry, this one tested our patience and our sanity.
The old yellow factory ceiling made the van feel unfinished and honestly a bit depressing. We wanted one win. Something that made the van feel more like a home and less like a work site. Turns out, ceilings are not as simple as they look.
