Crave Life Episode 27
While exploring the Alaska backcountry, we discovered a very rare occurrence of nature.
We depart from Wolf Lake Airstrip for a destination that formed just a few months ago. Sadly, this marvel of nature, will be forever gone in just a few short months.
20 Years in Alaska and not a single day goes by where I'm not blown away by the beauty and acts of nature.
On the way back, we experience a few great intercom conversations among pilots searching for this wonder.
We get to see a couple of our Air Force F22 Raptors heading out to take care of business - perhaps checking on misbehaving neighbors?
Anyone else experience this beautiful site? Any idea how to determine the age of the Ice?
