In this deeply personal and emotional vlog, we open up about the incredible highs and heartbreaking lows of our unconventional life. Five years ago, we took a leap of faith and moved into a self-converted vintage bus with our 3 kids and 4 dogs, embarking on a journey across 47 of the lower 48 states. From monumental adventures to unimaginable challenges, we’ve lived a life far from ordinary.
But what led us here? We share our story—including the tragic loss of our son Ethan in a car accident on our way to celebrate his 7th birthday at Disney in 2011. It’s a raw and vulnerable look at how grief shaped our family and our decision to pursue a life on the road.
Along the way, we’ve appeared on Dr. Phil, met Dolly Parton, helped a missing person’s family, and competed on a family reality game show—all while navigating PTSD and depression. These experiences have brought us closer together as a family, but they’ve also challenged us in ways we never imagined.
