Some relationships don't end in a big argument. A lot of them end from the stories we make up in our heads instead of asking the other person what changed or addressing the silence.
This is my very first reflective storytelling piece which addresses emotional avoidance, unspoken assumptions, and how easy it is to pull away when asking the real question feels harder than staying quiet.
