Amazon’s plan to bastardize Stargate just got another confirmation. After canceling the fan-backed series led by the original creatives, Amazon is still moving forward with the IP but reportedly with a new writer who they wish to be unfamiliar with Stargate. Unfortunately if the #SaveStargate movement is unable to accomplish its goal, it seems that Amazon will be overseeing the destruction of yet another beloved legacy IP.
