Previously, we framed and raised the front and back walls of our bedroom. As we move towards rafters, we get the 14-foot ridge beam locked into place and two rafters tied to hold everything tight during high winds. We're racing to beat the spring rain and get this last portion of the house under roof. We attempt one last, tight fit rafter before nightfall - we had one shot...and blew it.
