Last weekend, Lorna and I headed over to Manchester to watch Peter Kay at the AO Arena! We were kindly hosted by Jamesy Squidge and took the opportunity to do a bit of Parkrun tourism whilst we were there...

The only problem was a week of constant snow and sub-zero temperatures meant that, as with the rest of the UK, nearly all parkruns were cancelled! After a lot of research and crossed fingers on Friday night, Heaton Parkrun confirmed that they were going ahead... the only parkrun in Greater Manchester and beyond!

Record breaking numbers ensued - over 1,000 which was the third busiest parkrun in the country this weekend - and I found the atmosphere electric! Check it out!
