Wolf packs have been seen in this area for the last few years, but we never thought we would be this close. Jake and I were on a mountain road when we discovered this crazy scene. There has been a small wolf pack that took down and ate a young elk on the side of the road. After we investigated it we determined that it was completely torn apart by wolves. We were fortunate enough to save the ivory teeth from the elk we found. Just another day in the Idaho mountains.
