Several months ago, our family was returning from a boat trip on the lake we live near, and they heard several kittens meowing inside our neighbor's docked boat. They allowed us to get on their boat to investigate, and we found the three kittens shown in the video. We took them back to our house since it was dangerously hot outside that day, and we did not want to risk the kittens succumbing to the extreme heat.
The first few days we had them, all three of the kittens were terrified, but were still eating, drinking, and doing their business. Around 3 days later, they all started to warm up to us and explored the house as well. Tom was still a bit scared and was mostly hiding even when the other kittens would be out playing. As shown in the video, he eventually warmed up to us as well.
Our other cat, Luna, actually hated the kittens at first. It wasn't until several days ago when she started playing with them and got used to the kittens being in the house. Our dog Charlie, on the other hand, was very nice and gentle with the kittens. He would try to play with them by gently poking his nose at them, and although the kittens were scared of him at first, they quickly grew to like him and even started sleeping on him at several points.
I will no longer be looking after these kittens now that I'm in college, so now they will be in the care of my parents and my brother. Tom and Murphy are both very happy with their new home, and Fluffy has been having a great time with her new family!
