When forced to flee their homes, refugees can only carry so much in their arms, but they bring so many intangible gifts to their new communities: hopes and dreams, experiences and talents, traditions and family stories, resilience and determination.

Get a glimpse of some intergenerational conversations as families discuss what it means to be a refugee and all the things their families bring with them, wherever they go.

The International Rescue Committee helps people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and regain control of their future.

This World Refugee Day (June 20), and every day, welcome refugees and all that they bring to your community.
