You only get married once (hopefully) and since we didn't get married at a railway, we built a railway down the wedding aisle! My very understanding wife Holly was on board with the idea to have the rings delivered on a steam train, but this was just one of many rail themed displays that snuck into the big day...

This rather absurd plan would have been a disaster without my utterly legendary friends, many of whom had only just recovered from running the Awdry Extravaganza 5! I am thrilled that we were all able to bring a little part of the railway with a heart of gold with us; even Carr was there as a guest. Here's how it all happened, and how it could easily have gone very wrong.
