Just under two months ago, we installed the WOLFBOX Smart Slide powered tonneau cover on our crew F-150 Lightning. Since, it's shown itself to be reliable, weatherproof, and silent. But there's one feature we miss from our previous tonneau cover we wish it had: the ability to control its operation from inside the truck.
But after realizing how the cover's BLE stack works, we've been busy designing our own PCB that combines CAN Bus, BLE, and HomeLink to give us the feature we miss — and a whole bunch of extra features we think will enhance our ownership experience.
Meet "Mellon" — a project we're working on that should do it all.
