Compton hosted their first Juneteenth Celebration with "We Are Us Festival"
The free family festival featured performances, food, health resources, giveaways, and community recognition at Lueders Park
St. John’s Community Health, in partnership with the city of Compton, hosted the We Are Us Festival from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Lueders Park, 1500 E. Rosecrans Ave., marking the first year Compton held a Juneteenth celebration.
Presented by El Seven Inc., Wins & Lessons Foundation, and sponsored by Councilman Andre Spicer, the free community event brought together families, residents, artists, health advocates, local organizations, and community leaders for culture, wellness, resources, and unity.
