Part 1 of my USSR Historical playthrough in Hearts of Iron 4. We step into the shoes of the Soviet Union - the world's first communist state, and the land of red terror. Only two years after the assassination of Sergei Kirov, Stalin is looking within the USSR for more enemies, real or imagined. Soon enough, hundreds of thousands of people will be killed in the Great Purge. But, if Stalin kills all of the people who he suspects, will the people who survive be capable enough to deal with the increasingly chaotic world around them?
