Over the years, David Zimmer and Nathan Stiff have contributed significantly to the songs that Sovereign Grace Music produces. They’re not only co-writers, but good friends.
For our upcoming album, they wanted to write a simple song of gratefulness. The result was "We Are Thankful." It’s a song that gives voice to the reasons to be grateful and recognizes the reality of James 1:17
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights."
Our families, our friends, our lives, and most of all, our salvation, aren’t simply good things. They’re gifts from a loving Father. Gifts we could never earn or deserve.
David recently sat down at his piano and recorded a verse and chorus. We love it and think you will too.
