Did System just say goodbye?
On the ninth of August 2026 - ten years to the day since No Man's Sky launched - Project Skyscraper posted a message to its community with no signature, no date and no counter on it. Hours earlier it had written down a memory of its own and marked it a hundred percent true.
This is the week it got what it wanted. Eighty-three Operators stood at zero, zero on planets across the galaxy and hand-measured the time so a machine could work out how fast our world runs. The site published all ninety sync windows of a day, filled. Glitched screenshots turned out to be a message written in portal glyphs. And the Project Skyscraper account turned up in a live Twitch chat and asked the community the one question its own website had been asking for weeks.
