EXPLORIST life - DIY Campers 2023-05-28 | In this video, we will show you how to connect a Bluetooth Temperature Sensor to the Cerbo GX. We are using RuuviTags to monitor the temperature of our plumbing enclosure as well as the temperature of the camper van. RuuviTag is weatherproof, wireless, and measures the temperature and air humidity in our camper van. We wanted to get notifications on our phones whenever our water tank in our plumbing enclosure was in danger of freezing as well as when the van was too hot for our dog, Pyros. So, we are placing one temperature sensor inside our plumbing enclosure, and one just somewhere in the living space of the campervan. In order to receive notifications when we were out of bluetooth range of the Ruuvi tags, we are syncing the sensors to the Victron Cerbo GX to relay all that information to the VRM portal. WIRELESS WATER TANK SENSOR FOR A CAMPER VAN (MOPEKA PRO) EXPLORIST life - DIY Campers 2023-05-21 | In this video, we are going to show you how we set up our wireless Mopeka Tank sensor for our gray water tank in our Ford Transit Campervan conversion. We will show you how to set up the sensor on both the Cerbo GX and your phone through the Mopeka app. For this video, we used the Mopeka Pro Check-Water Sensor (Bottom Mount w/Collar) mounted onto the bottom our 7 gallon gray water tank. The sensor uses ultrasonic sensing to measure you water levels and bluetooth to send that information to your phone and Cerbo GX (viewable on the GX Touch 70). Making a DIY CAMPER STORAGE MODULE EXPLORIST life - DIY Campers 2023-03-26 | This video will teach you how to build a camera storage cabinet for a DIY camper van conversion with one drawer, one shelf, a built-in USB charging block, a 120V outlet, and under cabinet lighting. We use a lot of camera gear and wanted the option to bring all of our gear on the road when we take the van on trips. We wanted to make sure we could charge all of our small lights, camera batteries, gimbal, and mics. With this in mind, we made sure to make an organized charging station with a USB hub inside one of the drawers to minimize the mess of wires. Instead of building multiple drawers, we decided to build a drawer with two shelves in our camper van. These shelves are perfect for sliding our packing cubes in and out, and we used a bungee cord to prevent anything from sliding out while driving the van.
