New Blood Rising is the PPV event that replaces Road Wild on the 2000 WCW calander. Named after a faction and storyline that had already been wrapped up by the time the show took place, New Blood Rising in another event written by Vince Russo (and it shows).
Goldberg, Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner compete in a triple threat match for the number 1 contendership, Lance Storm takes on Mike Awesome in a fun "Canadian Rules" match, and Jeff Jarrett gets another shot at the WCW World Title when he faces Booker T.
