Join Music Director Brian Woods and award-winning Canadian violinist Daniel Dastoor for an evening of brilliant duos by some of history’s most beloved composers. The program features Franz Schubert’s dazzling Rondo in B Minor, D 895, a breathtaking tour de force for both violin and piano, as well as Robert Schumann’s passionate Violin Sonata No. 2, Op. 121. Filled with both obsessive virtuosity and intimate lyricism, this unforgettable program is sure to inspire with some of the finest compositions in the violin and piano repertoire!

Music Director Brian Woods is thrilled to perform again with longtime collaborator Daniel Dastoor, an award-winning soloist and chamber musician. Among Dastoor’s many accolades include the Sylva Gelber Music Foundation Award and first prize in the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition as part of the Rilian Trio. As winner of a nationwide audition process in Canada, he performs on the 1700 Taft Stradivari violin.
