I think Cultist is my favorite character. She can rack up damage fast. Here's a video of her obliterating the first area of the game. I get hit a few times due to being out of practice with this character.
She's pretty dependent on her abilities, but her dagger's charge attack gives her some options even if she's out of ability ammo. I frequently use her dagger throw in point blank range, as it has a fast animation and does more damage than a front stab.
I only find one Emberforge in this run, as I end up mostly skipping one of the levels due to finding the downstairs early. I swap out her default dagger throw with a big melee attack that knocks back and reflects. I forget to test out the reflect, but I do remember that I can nullify projectiles and enemy spells with her blinding ability and her shadow bomb spell.
At about 13 seconds in, I get a combo attack involving enemy friendly fire. I didn't even notice at first, but that pickaxe just barely missed me and hit the melee miner in the face, a moment after I hit it. The pickaxe thrower stole my kill.
I'm very glad we added those teleporters to dead ends. We also kept the speed change from last week. The game now runs +10% faster than the mobile version, instead of the +20% from the earlier videos. I think this is a good compromise.
I took out her story scenes like I usually have been with these videos. I leave in some secret fake wall hunting. We added small warning markers to south and east/west facing fake walls, to make them more obvious.
