This is a traditional Appalachian fiddle tune that I learned from the playing of Rayna Gellert and Mark Simos. In a weird twist of fate I found myself on stage at Club Passim with just the two of them playing this song. After hanging on for dear life for what seemed like forever, I went home, got out Rayna's CD of the same name and stayed up all night learning it. Sawmill tuning. aEADE
