Carvcom1 revisits the Waukegan Illinois Metra Rail Station after 27 years since the first video was made here. The video starts with a visit to the Waukegan Midwest Generation power plant where their switcher is moving coal cars in the yard. Next we see two UP GP15s at the lead of a local freight waiting in the UP yard.
Then it is on to the Metra station where weekday evening commuter trains arrive at the Waukegan station from Chicago. We also take a look in the locomotive servicing area where a UP lashup of GE units and a newer SD70 are awaiting their next assignment. This HD recording was made on July 9th 2014.
