Cornelius Wills of Nickerson Gardens and Tyrone Riley Sr. of Jordan Downs are working together to support young people in Watts. The two men will lead “Closing the Gap,” a youth summit Saturday in conjunction with Project Blue. More than 100 student-athletes are expected for sports performance and life-skills workshops, a leadership panel and a keynote.
