Join us as we spend two unforgettable days exploring Watkins Glen, New York—home of stunning waterfalls, the famous Gorge Trail, and the legendary Watkins Glen International Raceway. This area offers some of the most breathtaking views in the region, and we packed in as much adventure as possible!
We started our journey inside Watkins Glen State Park, hiking the Gorge Trail with its dramatic cliffs, stone bridges, and cascading waterfalls around every corner. It’s one of the most scenic trails in the entire state, and it did not disappoint! If you love hiking, waterfalls, or photography, this trail belongs on your bucket list.
Next, we headed to Watkins Glen International, a historic raceway where some of racing’s greatest moments have taken place. From fast cars to rich racing history, it was an experience unlike anything else in the Finger Lakes!
To wrap up our day, we visited downtown Watkins Glen and stopped at a local pub for great food, cold drinks, and small-town charm. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, an RV road trip, or just looking for new places to explore, Watkins Glen has something for everyone.
