I met the owners of Savaii Lagoon Resort during the ferry crossing from Upolu to Savai'i, and they kindly invited me to join their Fiafia Night. Set right on the waterfront, it was the perfect setting to enjoy traditional Samoan food, cultural performances, and an incredible Siva Afi (Samoan fire knife dance) with the ocean as the backdrop.
The evening wasn't just about the entertainment—I also met some wonderful guests, and one of them later joined me for a full day exploring Savai'i. It's amazing how travel can bring people together through shared experiences.
