Hiking journal in the western Oregon Cascade foothills on the vernal equinox, March 20, 2023. The Cascade trails are still covered with snow this time of year, but route finding wasn't difficult. Some viewpoints were close to edges of cliffs. Most all of this footage was shot near Salt Creek Falls. The final waterfall, Gooch Falls, is north of there, hidden in Willamette National Forest, and required a long (over 9m) snowshoe trek. At that point the waterfall can be heard, but not seen. I could only photograph and video the waterfall using the drone.
