In this one, I walk you through my process for a vibrant pumpkin study that’s perfect for the season.
We’ll go step-by-step, starting with the initial pencil sketch (with plenty of helpful drawing tips!), and then move on to layering watercolor to create depth and detail. 👩🎨
This is a great exercise for beginners who want to strengthen foundational techniques like wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, layering, and color mixing, as well as for intermediate artists looking for a fun, fall-inspired project to help you stay consistent with your practice.
