Watercolor is my medium of choise because of how it rewards looseness, speed and INSTINCT.

And in this painting demo I'm showing you how I approach painting a loose portrait. The colors don't matter, the exact shapes and values don't matter.

What matters is your instinct and intuition. Techniques are a fad. But your instinct was always there, and it's the one stable thing you can always rely on.
