Can you use ink pads to watercolor? Absolutely! Today I’m continuing my exploration of watercolor backgrounds for cardmaking with an easy ink smooshing technique using ink pads.

I’m featuring the new Gina K. Designs card kit and combining this watercolor background with an embossing folder and coordinating stencil for added color and texture.

This is a fun and easy way to stretch your ink pads and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind backgrounds for your handmade cards.
