Meteorologist Alexa Trischler says the National Hurricane Center is monitoring two areas, including Invest 97L in the Gulf, which could bring storms to Southeast Louisiana and South Mississippi.

One spot is the remnants of Dolly in the Atlantic Ocean east of the Leeward Caribbean Islands. Low chances for tropical development are possible as it moves west towards the Caribbean Islands the next several days.

The other spot is Invest 97 which is an area of low pressure in the northeastern Gulf. This also has a low chance of development as it drifts westward along the Gulf Coast over the next couple of days.
