Ohhhh I like how these came out! The parts certainly arent perfect, but I still like them.
And yes its Roakan again, because why not

These parts revolve around Roakans backstory, which Ive started to rewrite a while ago. I gave his parents more personality (also gave his mom an actual role) and made the whole story overall more interesting. In my Control MAP parts (in case youve seen those) I showed his dad as only abusive and posessive and I dont like that at all. I just wanted to show that hes a bit more than that.
Well, Im gonna write down the story on Roakans Toyhouse page when its finished. Which will probably be in a few years XD
In other words, I dont want to write down now whats exactly happening in this video, but to make it maybe a little bit less confusing, the blue part is from Arodems perspective and the red one is from Roakans perspective.

This is really lazy, but I still like it somehow.
I just made this to experiment with colors, editing and stuff. Also wanted to do something with Hatimor and his backstory.
Story:
Hatimor was the shyest kid ever and then met that purple kid (who I’m probably not gonna name soon) and they became best friends. One day they were playing together and as the kid crossed the street to get home again, he didn’t notice that the stoplight was red and got run over by a car. The sight of his corpse on the street traumatized Hatimor as a child and now even being grown up he hasn’t fully recovered from it and suffers from anxiety and paranoia. He always had liked to grow flowers in his room and would sometimes make tea out of the petals to help him calm down. But sometimes his feelings become too unbearable and he just eats the whole flowers. Then they kinda work like drugs and he becomes addicted to them and gets hallucinations.
There is a bit more, but I don’t feel like writing all of it down here.
In case anyone wants to know what the Latin in the end means:
“Why didn’t you save me?” (Edit: goddamnit I forgot the cur, my Latin teacher is gonna kill me if he sees this)
“Don’t you love me?”
“Where am I?”
“Why aren’t you with me?” (the ante has to be apud I just noticed)

As a former music nerd and piano player this project makes me really happyyy
I just had to join in and of course I picked the Moonlight Sonata Murder Case, one of my all-time favorite cases from the series and also one of the few I vividly remember from when I was a child
Not too sure if the spoiler warning is necessary, but eh
About the part: I’m quite happy with how it turned out! The tweening looks pretty neat and Conan is insanely fun to draw, such a smol boi! I sure hope nothing bad or possibly traumatizing happens to him
Writing and animating all these notes gave me a massive headache though. Why did I think writing down the THIRD movement of this goddamn sonata was a good idea?? I could’ve just chosen the first one, since that also plays in this scene, but naahh my small brain is only capable of dumb decisions
Btw for anyone wondering: The notes at the very end translate to “Danke kleiner Detektiv” (that’s german for “Thank you little detective”) when using the piano code established in the episode. I’m so sleek hehehe. Originally wanted to write down the original japanese message, but that turned out to be a bit too long D:

uhhh hi! super sorry for the lack of vids lately! its been a mix of art block and irl stuff getting in my way (+ hyperfixating on Pikmin for some reason?? I cant get enough of these little plant people)
I do have some stuff in the works but I dont want to promise something, Ill just post stuff when its ready. I might make some more ych animation memes well see
Anyway, pretty happy with how this part turned out! The backgrounds were surprisingly fun to do and drawing Hatimor is always great, I love me some anxiety man
In this I wanted to depict my social anxiety but also how Im making progress in overcoming it. Ordering stuff in cafes and such may be an ordinary thing to do for others but for some it can be incredibly stressful
I guess just be patient and compassionate towards others, you never know what others may be dealing with
