Today we're putting two incredible slide-rule chronographs head-to-head: the stunning Breitling Navitimer 41 Mother of Pearl Japan Edition and the legendary Sinn 903 H4.
On one side, we have one of the most unusual Navitimers Breitling has ever produced—a Japan-market model featuring a gorgeous Mother of Pearl dial that changes character with every shift of light. On the other, the Sinn 903 H4, a watch with a unique place in horological history as the licensed continuation of the Navitimer design after Sinn acquired the rights and tooling from Breitling during the company's difficult years.
This comparison is especially meaningful to me because I was fortunate enough to source this exact Breitling for my friend TGV of The Urban Gentry before eventually hand-delivering it to him.
